 Port Angeles City Pier is located at the north end of Lincoln Street on the water front. This scene was captured as the sun was rising one morning in late June. Once again I combined 3 exposures to balance out the wide range of light bringing color to the sky and detail in the darker foreground. Getting up earlier than we want to is sometimes a necessary part of capturing that quality of light that only happens near sun rise. This image was captured with a tripod-mounted Nikon D300 and 12-24mm lens.
