An Exhibit by Jim Oliver

"It's Another Tacoma Sunrise,
This Old World Don't Look The Same,
Another Frame"

An Exhibit by Jim Oliver at The Tahoma Center Gallery May 2nd through June 29th 2012.

This exhibit is the culmination to date of a project I have been working on for 2 plus years.
All of the 40+ images in the exhibit were taken from, or of, some of Tacoma's nooks, crannies,
and icons between 4AM and 8AM. The neon has been turned off, the offices have been cleaned, and it's that "golden hour" of light, and stillness starting just before Dawn. I’ll bet you were still asleep then.
The exhibit is in the Tahoma Center Gallery and is located at 1323 South Yakima Avenue Tacoma, WA 98405 in the old St Leo's School building. The gallery is on the 2nd floor in the heart of Catholic Community Services Southwest who sponsors the gallery.

Opening reception will be on May 17th, the 3rd Thursday Art Walk  from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
There will also be a reception on June 3rd Thursday Art walk which will be June 21st, also from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Gallery Hours are:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8AM to 5PM
Tuesday, Thursday: 8AM to 8PM
Saturdays and Sundays: Closed
