Often times amidst the hustle and bustle of this life it’s easy to forget to slow down and contemplate what life has to offer. For me the boats safely tucked away from the tossing waves allows the viewer to do just that. So, take a moment in a safe place and enjoy what has been given you. This photograph was taken at 27mm at ISO 100 on a Canon 20D camera. The fleeting light that evening at the Des Moines Yacht Club allowed for just two shots before the clouds completely muted the colors of the sunset. I submitted the first one.
