Plan on Spokane Workshp

“Plan on Spokane” Accomplished Photographer & Speaker, Nevada Wier, will emphasize “Creativity in Travel”, “Photographing People”, “Photography in Great Light, and Bad Light”, “Fill Flash & Reflectors”, among other subjects and audience questions, on March 31-April 1, 2012. Inland Empire Chapter PSA at Spokane Community College.

Your choice of three full-day free Field Trips, on Monday, April 2, for Seminar Participants & spouses: “Inside Spokane”, “Northwest Palouse”, and “Southeast to Palouse, WA & into Idaho”. You will be guided to Photo Opportunities that one alone could not access in days.

All of these pearls from Nevada Wier, plus free lunches on Saturday & Sunday, March 31 & April 1, for the incredibly low not-for-profit tuition of $85 for PSA & CAPA members, and $95 for neither PSA nor CAPA members. Full-time students are given PSA incentives to avail themselves of stimulation & learning from internationally acclaimed Nevada Wier by tuition reduced to $50 for both days including lunches, or welcomed to “Brown Bag” for only $25 for both days.

Nevada Wier is on the move, photographing in foreign countries, which requires the combination of technical expertise, culture competence, intuitive awareness, curiosity and a dash of panache. In a two-day seminar, Nevada will discuss how to combine technical, practical, and creative aspects of travel photography in order to get an image that elevates itself above the usual travel clichés. She discusses ways to approach and creatively photograph people, cross-cultural considerations in foreign countries, using natural light, fill-flash, tips on equipment, and digital concerns in the field. To quote Ruth Steer, Surrey, British Columbia: “I have seen a presentation by Nevada before. She is riveting.”
